Goal

Our goal is to produce high-quality, flavorful cherries through sustainable and innovative farming practices for local Georgian market. By focusing on superior fruit quality and efficient cultivation.

Cherry Breeds

18 types of cherries, most of them derived from Italian cherry tree breeds. Yearly estimate of produced cherries is 70 tons, which is mostly made of Kordia cherries.

Georgian Cherry Association

The Georgian Cherry Association is a dedicated organization that supports the development and success of Georgia’s cherry industry. Bringing together farmers, the association promotes best practices in cherry cultivation, quality standards, and sustainable farming.

Cooling Storage

Cooling storage is essential for preserving the freshness and quality of our cherries, helping to significantly extend their lifespan after harvest. With a capacity to store up to 130 tons of cherries at a timereducing the natural ripening process and minimizing spoilage.

  • Tree:medium-high vigour, spreading and well-branching growth, self-sterile with medium-high productivity
  • Blossoming time: medium-late. Self-sterile..
  • Fruit:Fruits: large sized, heart-shaped, bright dark red to black skin background colour and spotted skin overcolour. Firm, crunchy, red coloured flesh with good flavour. Average resistance to handling and poor sensitivity to fruit Monilia;

Grace Star

  • Tree: high vigour, semi-upright habit, high and steady productivity. Good branching, fruit-bearing time is rather long on vigorous rootstocks, medium on medium-strength rootstocks. Good productivity on weak rootstocks
  • Blossoming time: medium-late. Self-fertile.
  • Fruit:large-sized, heart-shaped, bright dark red colour. Flesh has good taste and average texture.
  • Harvesting season:medium-early;16 days post B.Burlat.
